Lit from Within..

Lamps. I used to watch the TV Series Heroes only because of the lamps they kept changing for every episode. A lamp is truly one of the best indicators of what kind of personality you are housing in a space. Think of the idea of people who put on a lampshade at parties...they're drunk enough to let their true self show--

Take a look at the following image of Lamps I've found and tell me what it tells you about a person who uses this source of illumination:

Rubber Tables!

rubber table by robert schnur.
This table caused a long discussion between my husband and I because we wondered if that table could be suctioned at the bottom, what else could be? Rubberized wall art or shelving (although any weight on the shelf would make it fall down probably.) Anyway, I'm thinking this table is more of a work of art as it may not be very level, but certainly looks fun to attach to things!

I have no idea who made this server, but it's sure looked cool and easy to carry.

If it's 'Invisible' then how come I can see it???

Castor from Toronto has created this Invisible Chandelier as a homage to recycling and lighting extravagance--its made with burned-out light bulbs surrounding the actual light source: a fluorescent strip light. I think I like it, but I am a little worried one of the bulbs might hit me on the head as I walk under it... :)

They also created this one:
which is alot of fluorescent tube lights banded together...what do you think?

Lighting

Just wanted to add some spectacular lighting to check out. The one on top is called the Cora Light, the one in the middle is the Magdalena Light and the bottom image is the Big Bang Chandelier (all can be found on ylighting.com)
