I once read that 'Arete' is an ancient Greek word which means excellence of any kind. I loved that idea so when I became a designer by trade it seemed natural to try to attribute the idea to what I am always aspiring to: Excellent Design! Anyway, you will find all sorts of things on this blog, from music to interesting DIY projects to green materials and even food- but with a unifying theme: of people that through their works have tried to achieve excellence.
